Louisville, KY – The TRIDAKO PowerCube™ auxiliary power unit made its truck industry debut at the Mid America Truck Show early this spring. The premier trade show event for over the road trucking enthusiasts and businesses in the US and around the world attracted over 50,000 visitors and 1,900 exhibitors.
“This show was an important part of our strategy to our expose the PowerCube™ product to the North American Trucking market.” says Mark Felker, Vice President of Marketing for TRIDAKO Energy Systems in Alliance, Nebraska. “It was real important for TRIDAKO to make a good showing and we accomplished even more positive results with our product design than expected.”
The annual tradeshow event is the single largest of it’s kind in the world, which is held in Louisville, Kentucky in late March.
According to Dan Koch, President and CEO of the company, “The Mid America Truck Show event was the perfect opportunity to showcase our product to potential customers and distributors, plus give them a chance to learn more about our company.”
An Auxiliary Power Unit is a self-contained generator set, which is powered by a small diesel engine and mounts onto the frame of a semi truck. The PowerCube™ provides secondary power, heating/air conditioning inside a truck cab which eliminates the fuel expense of idling the trucks main engine, while reducing harmful emissions.
